1. I have been met with little success in cooking lately and it has me somewhat discouraged. I had little success with the pancakes (I can’t cook pancakes but even DH who can still couldn’t get them cooked through, even though they were darker than I like), mozza sticks and an egg puff thing done in a cup. Granted I altered that recipe slightly because I didn’t want to separate eggs but the recipe is basically made to be healthy and then I’d have extra yokes with nothing to use them in). At the same time as I made the mozza sticks I messed up cooking chicken in the frying pan-which I’ve done before. However, on Wed my cupcakes came out pretty good though. So did my spaghetti pie though DH wasn’t crazy about the broccoli (he hates most veggies).
2. My friend recently suffered a breakup. As much as I feel bad for her I can’t help taking pleasure in the fact that she wants to hang out much more often. I usually end up seeing her once every 1-3 months. Now we talk on the phone most nights because she misses her goodnight calls with her guy and I offered. However, though she’s still hurting, she’s done some thinking and believes it is for the best. This helps me feel like I’m not such a bad person.
3. Today as you read this I am probably out skiing. My friend, who’s never been, heard about the trip with the university and asked me if I wanted to go. Now DH and I are going along with her and 2 more of our friends from school. I’ve been trying not to get too excited because I didn’t want to be too let down if it didn’t work out, but now I can totally enjoy it.
4. I made a card last week to match the gift, a nifty box of chocolates done up like jeans. This is the card,

5. Said gift and card were shipped wed night, to the Czech Republic and should be there in 6-8 weeks. Valentine’s day is in 1 week. If I paid $20 more I could have it there in 3 (weeks). *Rolls Eyes*
