1. Sat the 4pm viewer never showed but someone else called. They were really interested and they sounded so promising-but I didn’t know dh took the no kids out of the ad-and she had a kid. She even loved my colors. That evening we did get a few more responses, weekends and yucky days are much better for this. People make more time for ad browsing on the computer.
2. Sun 2 of my friends came over. My best friend came over for an hour and over the last of the lemon pepper linguine I got to tell her what all has been going on with me because she was really out of touch (she’s been busy with school). Then later in the afternoon, a friend from highschool came by and met Tyler. She was so sweet, she brought homemade chocolate chip cookies for us! Tyler ate a whole one and the mess he made rivaled any others. It was all over his face and hands and even his clothes. I cleaned him up promptly or it would probably have been a lot worse. Either way, he sure enjoyed it!

3. Sun night we had a viewer, but they were still in the looking at everything stage, so not too promising.
4. Monday we were cleaning up and going through our stuff. DH dressed Tyler to look like Jeremy Clarkson, a British Car Show Presenter). To quote he was dressed ‘business at the top, play at the bottom.’

That evening we went to DMIL’s. I took the baby to the playground and we had fun on the swings. It was a nice day but there were only 2 other kids there. 2 boys, both of them quite a it older, probably 11 or 12. They were reminiscing about their childhoods as I heard one ask the other, when was the alst time they just spent the afternoon at the playground together. I thought it was really cute, and I remember doing everything they were, putting rocks down the slide, jumping off the swings, it was just really nice to see kids these days playing outdoors, and appreciating it.
When we got back form the playground baby played in the garden!

5. Tuesday we had 3 showings total, the second is the most promising, but the first one is supposed to call anytime to let us know. Of course, then they still have t get approved.
6. Wednesday the tv cabinet came down. The living room now looks sort of empty without it, We cleared all the stuff off it and out of it, and then DH took it apart.
With DH working, yesterday and today (it’s Saturday) I’ve been getting a lot done around here. I now have control of every room but the bathroom and the kitchen (and 1 drawer in baby’s room) – meaning I know exactly what is there and what has to be done with it (what sort of box it’s going in, when, when it will be transported and where it will go (for immediate use, stored away for when we have the space etc…). The next thing I need to do is go through baby’s clothes because there are too many to fit in the crate as it is, and he will only outgrow more and need more things!
7. I am one short. The weekend is already gorgeous (I’m late doing this) too bad DH has to work. I was thinking the weekend would kind of suck because I really would have loved to be able to get out and enjoy the nice weather as a family, however, it’s shaping up pretty good.
Today I took the baby down to the parking lot where he could really travel with his walker. So we made a a sort of loop around the parking lot. Then we had just enough time to walk down the street to visit my friend before she got off work and to get ice cream. It turned out we also saw 4 other people, it was like a party, 3 of which had never met the baby
There was definitely a reason I felt called to walk down there today!
My half brother called today and asked me to babysit
It was unexpected but no reason not to. His sitter cancelled. I used to babysit these kids when they were a lot younger. As things are now it will probably be them playing with the baby all night. Almost gives me a break
It’s funny cause I was gonna call him and see what he was up to on such a nice weekend with DH working. We will all hang out at Stitch’s sometime tomorrow, or at least that is the plan.

I especially love the “Jeremy Clarkson” picture–though they’re all good.
